Work scenarios #
ENTOMONE can be used in the field, at home, for collection digitisation, during foreign expeditions and as a preparation layer for iNaturalist.
Field notebook #
Every photo saved through ENTOMONE becomes a record that can be identified and completed later.
Quick points, photos later #
You can save points in ENTOMONE and later import selected photos from the phone or Google Drive.
Home processing #
At home you organise data, identify specimens, correct records and prepare reports.
Expedition and collaborative work #
Several users can work in one dataset. Sites, visits and galleries help organise material collected at many places and dates.
Report and publication #
Selected records can be exported, reported or published to iNaturalist. ENTOMONE remains the working database.
Scenario 7: group work in one database #
ENTOMONE supports group work on one project in one database. The owner or an authorised person can invite another user, several users or a whole team to the same database.
After accepting the invitation, each team member works in the same database, according to their role and permissions. One person can add records, another can complete identifications, and another can prepare data for a report or publication.
See the detailed workflow in Group work: database invitation.
